Mark J. Sanford, M.S., CCC-A, Audiologist
Mark J. Sanford, Clinical Audiologist, has successfully owned and managed CSG Better Hearing Center since 1994 and has over 25 years of experience in hearing healthcare. He earned his Masters in Communicative Disorders, Audiology at the University of Texas in Dallas. As an expert in hearing loss and hearing devices, Mark gives presentations locally and nationally and is on the advisory board for several hearing aid manufacturers. In addition, Mark instructs new Lyric providers in sizing and fitting procedures. Mark is a member of: American Academy of Audiology, American Speech and Hearing Association, Academy of Dispensing Audiologists, Hearing Review Advisory board, and Chairman of the Elite Hearing Network Advisory Board. In the past, Mark has been a member of the GN Resound Advisory Board and Vortis Techonology Board. |
Tamara Anderson
Tamara Anderson graduated from medical school overseas in 1981, specializing in diseases of the ear. She was head of the ENT department from 1982-1997 of a regional medical facility. She immigrated to the United States in 1997. She successfully owned and operated an audiology practice in North Carolina for many years. Tamara joined CSG Better Hearing Center in 2008 and specializes in seeing our patients who wear the Insound Lyric. With her vast knowledge and experience in hearing health and with the Lyric, she has become a Lyric “expert” and now trains other hearing professionals throughout the United States on her sizing and fitting techniques. In addition to her professional approach, Tamara’s charm and warm personality is endeared by our patients. |
Letta Wesley, M.S., Audiologist
Letta Wesley earned her Masters in Speech Pathology and Audiology at California State University-Sacramento, and graduated with Honors. Letta joined CSG Better Hearing Center in 2008. Her experience with the best hearing technology available and her natural, compassionate approach to our patients, make her a true professional in the audiology field. Letta provides attentive, personalized care for the greater Bay Area and works closely with highly experienced physicians. Letta's unique aptitude to deliver excellent patient service makes her a valuable asset to the hearing impaired community. Currently, Letta manages our Berkeley office.

Caren Bowling, Office Manager
The first time Caren Bowling came to CSG she was bringing her mother for hearing assistance. Caren was so impressed with the excellent care her mother was given she was excited at the opportunity to join the team. She has been with CSG since 1989 and has an expansive knowledge of the hearing industry. Caren is always there to greet patients with a smile, and her compassionate nature and her willingness to help in any way she can has made her the heart of our office.

Kristy Reeder, Marketing & Inventory Manager
Kristy Reeder has been a part of the CSG team since 2005. Kristy majored in sociology and minored in psychology at Sonoma State University. Before coming to CSG Kristy worked in a speech therapy clinic which has made her a natural at understanding the needs of patients and helping those with hearing difficulties. Kristy is always there to help and is a dedicated member of the CSG team.

Carrie Sanchez, Berkeley Office Manager & Insurance Billing Specialist
Carrie Sanchez has been with us since 1999. Carrie is the quintessential team player and can help with anything from a basic tube change to providing full office support. In addition to making sure things run smoothly in our Berekeley office she diligently handles the insurance billing for all of the Better Hearing Centers.

Charis Yip
Charis Yip joined CSG Better Hearing Center in 2010. She earned her Master’s in Audiology overseas. Charis graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from California State University-East Bay in 2005. During the school years, Charis worked in public and private practices, laying the foundation for a flourishing audiology practice. Her work experience with a speech therapy clinic gave her insight into the hearing impaired community. Charis has a compassionate nature and charming personality, and she enjoys working with patients to improve their hearing health and functionality.
