Starkey has created a new app – the Hearing Loss Simulator – for your use as a counseling tool.
Help patients’ loved ones understand what hearing loss is like.
With the app, a specific hearing loss configuration can be selected, and then sounds are presented representative of that hearing loss.
The Hearing Loss Simulator contains pre-recorded common sounds as well as the option to record a voice for playback through the different hearing loss scenarios.
Additionally, graphics show where the common sounds, speech and individual speech sounds are located for loudness and frequency.
