Mark J. Sanford, clinical audiologist and president of CSG Better Hearing Services, Inc., has 30 years of experience in hearing health care. He has owned and managed CSG Better Hearing Center in Walnut Creek since 1994 and later expanded the business by adding locations in other Bay Area cities and Monterey. He earned his master’s degree in communicative disorders, audiology, at the University of Texas in Dallas.

As an expert in hearing loss and hearing devices, Mark gives presentations locally, nationally, and internationally, including recent trips to England, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, Canada, and Germany. In addition, Mark instructs new Lyric providers around the world in sizing and fitting procedures. In 2010 Mark received the first ever Elite Award of Excellence given by Elite Hearing Network for his specialized work training audiologists to be Lyric providers.

Mark is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association, Academy of Dispensing Audiologists, Hearing Review Advisory Board, and member and chairman (2011–2013) of the Elite Hearing Network Advisory Board. In the past, Mark has been a member of the GN ReSound Advisory Board, Phonak Advisory Board, Hatis Advisory Board, and Vortis Technology Board.
